Founded in 1992 by Claude Cressot, PhD Economics, with 25 years banking experience, the institution was incorporated at the commercial registry of Geneva, Switzerland.
In application with latest banking laws, CRESSOT ASSET MANAGEMENT has registered in March 2000 as a member of OAR (Organisme d'Auto-Regulation) of the Ministry of Finance in Bern, Switzerland, and as member of ARIF (Association Romande des Intermediaires Financiers, www.arif.ch list of members), the swiss main association of Private Bankers and Asset Managers that controls activities and audits figures. All directors and employees are obliged by law to attend a seminar every year, so as to update with the latest rules and regulations.
CRESSOT ASSET MANAGEMENT has established partnerships with several major banks in the world, mainly CREDIT SUISSE, HSBC, UBS, BARCLAYS BANK, BANK LEU, UBP, MORGAN STANLEY, PICTET BANK, SOCIETE GENERALE, BCG, in Switzerland, Gibraltar, London, Bahamas and Singapore, in order to open numbered, nominal, offshore and trust accounts for customers.
